Football Team Stack is a casual football squad-builder and training companion. We collect as little as possible. We do not require an account, we do not sell your data, and your profile photo never leaves your device. This page explains exactly what we store and why.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Football Team Stack mobile application (the “App”) and the services at footballteamstack.online (the “Service”). If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Nickname — a display name you choose. It is shown on the global leaderboard next to your scores.
• Profile photo (optional) — if you take or choose a photo, it is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers and is not used on the leaderboard.

Information created as you play

• Anonymous player ID — a random identifier (UUID) generated on your device the first time you launch the App. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any real-world identity.
• Game progress — your high score and unlocked achievements, sent to our server so the leaderboard and achievements can sync across launches.

Stored only on your device (not on our servers)

• Your coins, owned players, kits and pitch skins, selected items, saved lineups and game statistics.
• Your profile photo.

3. Camera & photo library

If you choose to set a profile picture, the App asks for permission to use your camera or photo library. The image you pick or capture is saved locally as your avatar and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can remove it at any time from the Profile screen.

4. How we use information

• To show a global leaderboard ranking players by score.
• To record and sync your achievements.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

5. Legal basis & data sharing

We process the minimal data above to provide the online features you request (our legitimate interest in operating the app). We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (e.g. server hosting and database) solely to run the Service, under appropriate safeguards.

6. Data retention

Leaderboard scores and achievements tied to your anonymous player ID are retained while the Service operates so rankings remain meaningful. You may request deletion of your server-side data (see “Your rights”). Deleting the App removes all device-stored data, including your photo.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Because we don’t collect names, emails, or accounts, the data we hold is limited to your chosen nickname, anonymous player ID, scores, and achievements. To request deletion, email [email protected] with your player ID (shown in the App under Profile).

8. Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond an optional nickname. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

Data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
